Canon Service Bulletin for Powershot G10

Canon have released a Service bulletin for its Powershot G10 camera. It states that in rare instances, lines may occur in images captured by the camera.
Models affected by this can be identified by serial number where the fourth digit from the left is 5 or 8 or whose fifth digit from the left is 0 or 3 may be affected.

***50*****, ***51*****, ***52*****, ***53*****
***80*****, ***81*****, ***82*****, ***83*****

Free repairs will be provided to affected products. Please contact us or Canon service centre if you own an affected product and wish to arrange for service.
Note. We "MUST" send the camera with a few images with the affected fault stored on memory card.
