Resolution and sizing
Our printing default is FIT IN.
FIT IN: This means that your image will be printed without any cropping to FIT IN the paper size requested. Sometimes this may leave white paper on two sides if your file was not the same shape/ratio as the selected paper’s shape/ratio.
FILL IN: This means that if your image ratio/shape is not the same as the requested print size it may crop to FILL IN the paper. (leaving no white paper visible)
NB: If you have critical details that are close to the edge some image may be lost/cropped out.
NO RESIZE: This option is only for those who require specific measurements on a requested paper size and no re sizing of the image to FIT or FILL the paper. Save your required file size at 300dpi (this is dots per inch - not per cm) This is a computer setting ie: Photoshop and is not a camera setting
Preferred file formats: JPEG (Saved at best quality) OR flattened 8bit TIFF. Ensure the files have no alpha channels.
sRGB Colour Profile: Convert all files including CMYK, Greyscale and Adobe 1998 to Adobe sRGB.
